Andrew, you are awesome for picking Gundam.

Fun fact: Gundam technically is a combining robot but they more or less retconned that.

The little "ball" robot is Haro. The Ball is something entirely different which you will see later. XD

Amuro's dad's name is Tem Ray.

And yes the opening is HILARIOUS. I've grown to love it for its campiness. The closing is also campy and awesome.

And you guys are totally right about Gundam Wing. It's not a good intro to Gundam because it's not really "Gundam". I enjoyed it when I was younger but Universal Century Gundam is way better.

Anyway, I enjoyed listening to this. Looking forward to more.

Awesome comeback show, guys. ^_^

Yes, you need a Crash on your show. "It's not the Gamecast! D:<"
(or the History, Spartan, and somethingrandomhere cast. XD)

And yay for Link for watching more anime, especially Samurai Champloo.

Mech, I think you are the first guy I've known that has dared to watch Princess Tutu. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's a brilliant series that more people should watch.

Also, what was the middle break song?

You don't have the "Save Link as..." or "Save linked content as..."?

Something I expect no one on the board to recognize. It's track 29 from "Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces" on the Wii.

Hmm, sorry, I'm not sure what is going on there, but left click it and see if it'll let you stream the audio in your web browser. -However it might be choppy.

When the audio file is playing in the browser, click "File" and the "Save Webpage As". Should let you directly download the mp3 to your desktop.

And if that for some reason still doesn't work, give me an hour or so, and I'll have an alternate solution up later tonight.

EDIT: OK, you can now stream the show from the flash player on the Gamecast site

Great new show. I really enjoyed listening to it, though I did so over a 24 hour time. The voices came through clear and the topics were all interesting. This is a good start to a new series. I really enjoyed it, and I looked forward to the next one.

Just a question: that one anime you talked about early in the show; the one where everything "just keeps getting bigger", what is the name. You said it several times, but I have been unsuccessful in hearing exactly what the name is supposed to be.

Also, because of this show, I looked up the original opening of Gundam, and now that song is stuck in my head.

Keep up the good work!

It was Gurren Lagan (hope I spelled it right).
K. Ayato: What happens if you press the small red button?

mechana2015: Does that answer your question?

K. Ayato: Perfectly.

Oh, and on another note:
Last Exile is not boring! It's beautiful!

1) Yeah it's on funimation's website both subbed and dubbed, and it's on their youtube channel subbed.

2) Agreed about LE, BTW. Not sure how the guys came to that opinion, but everyone's got a right to be wrong .

I've tried to watch through Last Exile 3 times, and have never finished it. When my priorities get that low... it's probably boring me. Especially when I can't remember anything important happening after episode 8 or so. I loved Range Murata's designs on the project but... I just can't hang enough interest on the show long enough to watch it through. Beautiful art doesn't make a good or interesting show.

Episode 1
There's a war going on, I guess! And we're mail carriers, and also air-racers!

Episode 3
Oh man, some dude died to save a girl he's going to deliver. Let's deliver her.

Episode 4
Girl delivered!

Episode 5
Um, so, I guess we're not mailmen anymore...

Episode 9
―]Episode 12[/B]
Man, scuttled with the emotionless military chick. Bummer.

Episode 16
And our XO is royalty for some reason. What is up with the women on this ship?

Episode 18
Well I guess that war everyone mentioned in all of like two episodes is over now. Sure is going to be boring without some kind of background conflict for us to still not get involved with OH WAIT the Guild is run by fascists suddenly, gotcha.

Episode 19
Time for the entirety of the composed cast to go OOC for several episodes because MAESTRO. Also, we need to find the Rasuto Eguzairu because otherwise why do we have Al in this show?

Episode 20
Last Exile found!

Only six more episodes people, yeaaaaaah.

You do know that you can take any anime series and make it sound ridiculous/boring/etc. by distilling its episodes down to one-liners, right? BTW, what are you doing wtahcing to episode 20 if the show is so bad? For the record, this one show is the only thing our tastes diverge on, so I don't think you have bad taste or anything. We can just agree to disagree about LE.

I would add that you can make any story sound ridiculous by distilling it to a one-liner.

I will leave it at that since I have not seen The Last Exile.

Fish gets many awesome points for recommending pretty much every anime I consider a favorite.

I totally want to come on when I become a legal adult! In 2 1/3 years...

I actually kind of want to go watch the original Gundam now...
