Far Out There

Well, it finally happened: I got a webcomic online.

Far Out There
It's in space... and stuff happens. Sort of a Hitchhiker's Guide/Red Dwarf style SciFi Comedy, only not as good. I'll go ahead and warn you that all I have up is the beginning, which involves LOTS and LOTS of exposition. So yeah, I don't need to be told that it's too text heavy right now. I figured that out myself.

Minimum age: I doubt anyone under 12 would have the patience for it.

Violence: 2, since I can't do action to save my life. Then again, my writting gets pretty weird sometimes, and I've been known to have people describe things that would be around an 8 or 9 in they were actually seen. None of that is in THIS comic though... yet.

Language: 2, unless you count fictional cussing borrowed from stuff like Battlestar Galactica. Then it's be more of a 7.

Sexual Content: 1, as a rule.

Nudity (or skimpy outfits): 1, also as a rule.

Bad Religion: Nothing at the moment, but some of the stories I'm tinkering with could rate around a 4 or 5.

(Oh, and one other confession: I know the name "Far Out There" isn't very good, but I couldn't come up with anything else at the time. :stressed: )

waaaaaaaaaaaah text walls D: XD

Still, very funny! Also, I like "Bell Bottom Blues" better than "Layla." "Anyday" and "Keep On Growing" are good too.

Oh goodness! I love this comic so far. It cracks me up! So far the main cast are my favs, but idk why I just love Avatar! I'm thinkin' I could totally cosplay her one day. :3! I also like Trigger (cause he's adorable), the Nitpicker Ichabod (what can I say, I love his witty-sarcastic sense of humor...and his hat), Skye (she's cool), Tabitha (and her two kawaii zombies!),......oh, and Layla...especially when she spazzes out. XD!

Anyway, great comic. Can wait to read more.

Okay, so Far Out There reached a whopping 300 pages (not counting holiday stuff) today! ...which makes it uniquely frustrating that DrunkDuck is a shambles due to massive updating right now. Sadly, their image loading thinggie has been broken since Saturday, so I can't get page 300 up

But you know what? I haven't missed a scheduled update yet, and today of all days is NOT when I'm gonna start! I'm posting pages on The official Far Out There forum until DD is working again, or you can just go the direct route and see page 300 RIGHT HERE

(Oh, and you can also see The Halloween Page too. Thank The Lord for Photobucket)

Fitting that this double-post follows me complaining about DrunkDuck. Guess what? Far Out There is on SmackJeeves now! Well, technically it's on both, but I finally got all the pages onto SJ, so that's going to be the "main" site from now on, with DD as the back-up. What makes it the "main" site? Well, that's where the button in my sig goes now, and you can't get more official that that!

(Be warned, though: I'm still working out the new site's layout, so it'll be a little messy for the immediate future. Sorry!)
