Does anyone like to read Jane Austen? Would love to discuss them...especially Persuasion (just finished) and Northanger Abbey (just started).

I have read Pride and Prejudice but that is it. I did enjoy it though and should probably read some more of her novels. They are more romantic than I care for to tell the truth. Good books none the less

Same, though I didn't like the actual character. He was all slimey and gross *shudder* great acting though! Gotta be a good actor to make people scared of you :D

Yep, that's the one. It is the group favourite around here. Got me onto Jane Austen.

All of the acting is good! (I think... Nothing jumps out, anyway.)

What, do you think you have free speech?

Seriously, may I ask why? I know at least 5 guys who really enjoy it.

My brother loved it! He also enjoyed Sense and Sensibility ;)
When we first watched it (at home school), mum borrowed the first video from the library, and at the end of it we were demanding to see the rest!!! She couldn't get them out fast enough :P

So did my brother and dad. You just can't resist a good book/movie. (GP has read the books!)

Yeah, alright, I admit a few points.

1) I've seen a bunch of Jane Austen movie conversions, and I like them all.
2) I've read the books.
3) I like Jane Austen.
