The other day I saw ShiroiHikari's Gallery and I was very impressed. That got me to thinking--while I love being a staffer for Daystar Design, I would like to have my own personal portfolio too.
So, anyone have any suggestions for good portfolio sites? Is DA worth it? Is that the best of the best?
Gallery suggestions?

I believe that a custom made script for gallery uploading and such is the best, on a clean host (that is, no mumbo jumbo limitations, just space and PHP/MySQL/Perl).

i have been meaning to give coppermine gallery a try, on my site i am using phpbb and there are a few things that i do not like about it

Yeah, well unfortunately my server doesn't support MySQL or anything really fancy--and secondly I don't want to install/upload anything to it because it's my father's space. So, does anyone know of any outside sources that are decent?
