Whoo finally made it through the first vod, which loads incredibly slowly for me but was lots of fun. I've also finished going through the 5 stages of grief over the loss of session 2 and am now a bit more than an hour into day 3 while failing spectacularly at not reading ahead on the summaries.

Sure you can, it was a common way to relieve pressure for horses with certain navicular syndromes until the advent of more specialized horseshoes. The drawbacks was it could subject ones horse to stone bruising by not protecting the front of the horse's toe and sole

I know that, but unless I missed it, I don't recall any point where there could have been a farrier.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, the rest of the party already let Agrippa stand around unwatched outside the lab, so I can believe that they'd leave him alone long enough to get a farrier.
