Greetings all, I'm Akaida. This may not be the first online community I've joined but it is the first anime-related site. Meaning: please go easy on me. :sweat:

I look forward to hanging out here and discussing: anime, Japanese culture, video games, etc. etc.

Hrm... favorite anime series so far would be Fushigi Yuugi - I'm a sap for romance. :sweat: Other personal favorites: Slayers, Rurouni Kenshin, and Neon Genesis Evangalion. I know those are pretty typical answers but I have yet to watch large quantities of anime.

Yes, Fushigi Yugi is a great anime, in the lower portion of my Top Ten. Slayers, however, is quite possibly my favorite, that or The Vision of Escaflowne (the series not the movie)--I would recommend that one to you, Akaida, especially if you like both fantasy and romantic elements. It has mechs too.

And yes, your avatar is cute! I like it, wish I knew what series it is from.

Insofar as Akaida's avatar, I have no idea where it's from, but I'm sure it's not in any of some-odd 250 anime titles. :2)
