Pacific Rim

Postby Peanut » Wed Dec 12, 2012 10:38 pm

I just saw this trailer today and, well, I now have a movie to look forward to next year.

Glados+Del Torro+Giant Robos+Monsters=an interesting movie I want to see Hollywood.

Rocket punches confirmed. Man, this movie seems to be shaping up pretty good.

Aaw yeah, that looks awesome. Also, did anybody else notice GLaDOS's voice?

I noticed GLaDOS. Too bad I haven't been into Mecha since... Well, since Nadesico. Yeah, Metal Gear is a Mecha, but it plays such a small role... All things considered. And the Rex vs Ray battle in MGS4 was actually one of my least favorite parts of the game... The Crying wolf fight was worse.

Anyhow, I'm more interested in whether they go to that other world, or is it just that the monsters come here?

This is everything I want in a movie. Giant monsters, huge mecha, Big O-style rocket punches...yeah. This better not end up sucking, lemme tell you that right now.

Sounds more like one of the turrets to me.

Some people got an early look at the movie. Going by their comments, the film sounds like it's pretty much what I was expecting it to be.

I plan to see it and I hope it does well. They are talking that if this does that it will stream roll the idea of a Halo movie and push the Robotech more then ever!
