CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

I want to buy a tablet that is lightweight and simply good for reading books or documents.

So, I have discovered Amazon Kindle, and especially the new "Amazon Kindle Oasis".

The screen seems sort of paper-ish and is matte (matte is awesome).

Any thoughts or experiences on kindles?

As far as kindles go for reading, they are amazing. If ALL that you want to do is read books or docs, there's no better. However, if you want more functionality, stick to a tablet.
If you want to be able to read in the dark, you should get one with a built in backlight.
I hadn't seen the oasis before, so no real clue whats different.
