Actually from what I can find through google, mirrors existed in what is now Turkey since around 6000 BC, and were in use in ancient Egypt at around 3000 BC! I'm not sure what time period Yu-Gi-Oh takes place in, but a quick google search of that reveals that it is supposed to be 1000 BC in the Japanese, and 3000 BC in the dub. So therefore Yu-Gi-Oh is either taking place nearly two millennia after the mirror was in Egypt, or right around the time it was being used!
