Here's another small jump start to this thread. ^^
This features Traver and Dove's son, Shadow. He's all grown up and hitting on his co-soldier, Hanna. :grin:

So opinions, suggestions for colors of hair, eyes, or clothes?

The png is kinda messy. Pic also contains a bishojo, but the whole thing makes him even more bishie, lol

Oooh! I like it!

Very suave and chivalrous, he seems! And I like the contrast of the two - he looks very Asian and she seems quite Irish. And I'm curious about what their story is. Is he flirting? Is he just very courtly and that's how he greets all women? Does he love her and he's confessing? There are so many possibilities.

They do get married, but I think this scene would be before that. He's certainly a gentleman to all women, but he's a bit more... flirty with her xD

I've never really considered their nationalities before, but you're right about them looking Irish and Asian.

I do like that, Souba! Your drawing style for Shadow almost reminds me of Brian Froud's style - I think it's the long nose. lol. And, despite how that may sound, I do mean that as a compliment.

He get's ALOT of grief at school because of his unusual name. Then he meets the girl sitting next to him, Joseph (nicknamed Jo). Not only do they share odd names in common, but they are also both Christians. Sally is actually a reclusive published author in desguise, while Joseph is a spirited freelance artist. Do they become close friends? Do they fall in love? Well, I'm going to have to get to writing the story for you guys to find out.

One thing I gotta say is that you have a great talent at designing outfit and characters, I think your hands are just so awesome, they are the hardest thing to draw for most artists and you have mastered them early on, congrats!!!
I also like the expressions on their faces, from serious to dare I say quirky. ;-)

I'm amazed that this thread has survived for so long.

Merry Gentlemen is about three (relatively bishie-looking) adults and one cheeky boy so I guess this counts as bishie stuff. I also drew this when my 1-year comic drawing hiatus ended.

It's great to see everyone still drawing.
