There's a bunch of other licenses in there, too, but I'm VERY excited about Otoyomegatari (Bride Stories). Having seen a few pics from this series here and there, I can tell you it is gorgeous. Plus, Kaoru Mori is the mangaka behind Victorian Romance Emma, which should be recommendation enough. Squee!!

This thread has made me realize I own nothing printed by Yen Press.

Time to fix that.

I heart Otoyomegatari! I'm so happy! XD

I can put it alongside my Yotsuba&! (and when I start getting my Bunny Drop, that too!)

Okay, I might have to go check this out then, since it has such high praise to go along with the incredible art.

This seems like a good place to link this:

Site is in Japanese, but the videos are self-explanatory. It shows Kaoru Mori drawing a single page from scratch. She is an absurdly good artist.

I've never heard of this, but I'm interested in checking it out. And, echoing everyone else: the artwork looks wonderful.

Those videos are nuts... she pulls the whole drawing off in what I would guess (due to the editing) about an hour.

Serious gravedig here, but I just wanted to alert people that Amazon has A Bride's Story v. 1 for pre-order! Right now it's going to be released May 31st, is going to be hardcover (don't know why!), and is pre-ordering for almost half-off at $9.76.

In short- get your orders in now!
