The Colossal Flying Scroll! (That Will Destroy the Houses of the Thieves and Liars) - A little too black metal, probably.
Possession of the Porcupines
Wormwood
Bowl of Wrath
Woman-Haired Locust
Golden Hemorrhoids
Inordinately Fond of Beetles

Pillar of Salt was a good one, I thought.

Edit: Graves of Craving. Yay for rhyming!

Depends. What time of Metalcore are we talking about?
Like Killswitch? All That Remains?

Or like Converge? Starkweather? Ringworm? Integrity?

It really depends what type of band.

Is it more on the hardcore or metal side?

And it's also really cool you're in a Christian Metalcore band. I'm in one too called "Endure." Check out our music video. Maybe by some struck of luck we'll play a gig together.

Fat with Fatness. Would really help if all the band members were overweight, but would also be kind of ironic of everyone was stereotypically emo-band thin.

If they are truly overweight the biblical reference may be lost in the reality.

Don't Insult the Bald Guy is also great.

From the looks of things Fat with Fatness seems to be building an insurmountable lead. We may have found your band name then.

My only advice is to stay away from Nailed. The fundie types are likely to draw a sexual reference rather than a crucifixion reference from it.

um, that's a good list I'm kinda want to do music around the same heaviness as the devil wears prada but I can't do the screaming for ten tracks nonstop if I do that I will literally be mute for the next 2 weeks I tried it over winter break a few years ago i tried drinking water that made it worse and because of that I'm probably going with stuff closer to wolves at the gate type sounding stuff. so totally of topic I was listening to Demon Hunter's song Our Faces Fall Apart(old but quite a solid track.)and when Ryan says “I watched our faces fall apart" he sounds like a girl but he somehow still pulled it off... it... confuzzles me(yes confuzzles is a word you will find it in the manga section of some public libraries it's called the confuzzling subsection it's for the outrageously unrealistic manga yes it's a thing.) I told you totally of topic I'm in Manchester I was playing a show at this guy's restaurant I wanted to see the manu game today during my weekend in Manchester but I got to bed at like 12 eastern which is like late next morning in england I slept through it I bought tickets and everything but I guess Wayne Rooney's just gonna have to be disappointed I DVR'd it though don't tell me who wins that why we have the gift of fast forward see i told you off topic

Yeah, you don't want to drink water. Drink tea with lemon.

Incidentally, if you would like someone to write some lyrics for you to have a look at, I'd be interested.

You don't necessarily have to drink tea, just something with lemon in it. Preferably hot.

Don't Make Fun of the Bald Guy is a reference to Elisha. After some youth insulted him by calling him "baldy" bears came out of the woods and mauled them. It's in 2 Kings 2:23-24.

EDIT: It has to be real lemon juice. You can't buy a can of Arnold Palmer or something like that and expect it to work.

I not sure even should start metal core band. I think you thing about imagery to music production if say bunch of Blah in the song. metal by design is to sound dark some try make it sound like come out pits of hell. I felt CCN has gone down hill because how church gotten more lukewarm. that bands just copy the world and not try develop there only music style. it not some subgenre of punk where Christian band reflect christ not just in lyrics but in the melodies too.
