I've been stressed recently, so, naturally, I've been doodling randomly lots.
1. I love the way anime/manga elongates the human form, but it's hard to pull it off just right. I have no idea who this guy is.
2. It started out as a Miyavi doodle, but his posture and clothes make him look rather L-ish. *pokes the hybrid pretty man*
3. Aaaaaaand...in celebration of the recent doubling of AJG's fanbase, I got the brilliant idea of doing a special photo shoot rather like the one Miyavi did with breakfast and a kitten. Unfortunately, AJG turned out not to be a morning person, so we didn't get much. He's still quite happy to have TWO official fans now, though. ^__^

Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.
Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.
But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. I have so much stuff and no time to scan, so I only have one picture right now...
Anyway, it's another page from the manga thing, but I was lazy and whatnot and didn't get the characters to look like they were supposed to (X especially does not look like Gackt *grumble*) but I didn't have time to redo it. Gomen... And yes, that is a blatant Kami allusion. (Also, Un-Angels would take a while to explain; they're important to the storyline, but not this page in particular.) Read L to R.

1. Tingle. Again. Because he insisted. This time he's in Chinese-inspired garb and some genius apparently told him that ancient Chinese nobility had really long nails to show off that they didn't need to work, hence the freakish nail sheaths.
2. A Gothy sort of doodle. Dunno where it came from.
3. Another random Gothy doodle.
4. Sketchy lineart because I was too lazy to clean it up or shade anything. This is a Jrock band that's friends with AJG. They are known as Falling Down Stairs. Someone help the poor people with their English. (Standing: Zai-bass, Zure-drums, Miraa-vocals; Sitting: Kala-keyboard, Nazo-guitar)
5. And, so the mobs do not come after me with the pitchforks, the first page of the manga thingy, though I must apologize for not using a ruler and the many other mistakes.

Yow, a whole month since I updated!
Anyway, I took a stab at ImageShack and have discovered how wonderful it is. Here's a tutorial-like analysis of some of the style used in the manga Alichino that I drew up for a friend. I was tired at the time, so there are probably spelling errors and such.
