Old pic needs a home

Postby Nu-En-Jin » Fri Oct 24, 2003 1:39 pm

Hey, all. One of your esteemed collegues just informed me that the current site i've been using to post my stuff also allows some rather unsavory things as well.
This is an old pic I'd welcome critiques of, as well as a call for any assistance in directing me to a place I can get hosted.
Thank you in advance!

Hmmm... a host, eh? I have a gallery on Elfwood, which is a fantasy and sci-fi gallery host. This pic looks sorta' sci-fi. Elfwood has fairly strict rules as far as content, meaning that your pics have to be recognizably fantasy (for a Lothlorien gallery) or sci-fi (for a Zone 47 gallery). You need a minimum of 4 pics per gallery (maximum of 50), and it takes a couple weeks sometimes for the moderators to approve a pic before posting it. But other than that, it's a really cool gallery site! :thumb:

I'm wondering though... What qualifies as "unsavory?" 'Cuz Elfwood allows nudity, just not pornographic images. It totally depends on the gallery, too. You might want to check out their "rules" page.

Elfwood's URL is: http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/elfwood.html

I have been to Deviant Art and it boarders hentai. Not all the art, but a some of it. It gives no (Or very little) warning. I'm not saying you're a bad person Nu, it's just many people here would be offended by some of the content.

Is it just me or am I posting whole paragraphes?

Well, I understand what you're saying. Deviant Art is the free site and yes when I entered there, it has a pop-up ads. Nudity and usual. All you have to block it so then that's how you control em. If you guys need a direction of how to block the nudity pop-up ads in Deviant Art:

For Window XP:
1. Internet Explorer, go to Tools, click Internet Options.
2. Click Privacy Tab
3. Look down to Web Sites, click Edit button.
4. Type the web address: such as peel.com
5. Click Block button, then click Okay button. You're all done. You won't have to see that dumb nudity again every time you entered in there.

You have the power. ^_^

I rely on the google popup blocker since I have win98, but unfortunately it's unfortunately not very reliable.

Nice pic :) It's really cool looking (especially the ribbons and cyborgish features on the hands) except consider combat boots or something next time
