Kirika's New and Improve Art Theard!!

Postby Kirika » Fri Aug 22, 2003 11:26 am

Well not really new, but I guess I've improved a little
I was just in the mood to start a new thread and my old one was getting heavy :P
Well here's my first post, but the drawing was to big for the scanner so the feet are missing :shady: and his boots were cool :sniffle:
It's a bit messy and dirty too :shake:

Edit: Dont worry about it if its a little dirty. It just makes it look coller.

Looks good, Kirika. I like the expression on his face. Very roguish.

Aw! He's adorable! Great, though. Keep it up.

For the boy in the first one--the sketch looks real cool! There's some good detail in his clothes and he has a cute expression ^___^

The girl and guy (profiles) is sweet :) I like how you did her short hair.

For the latest one, that's a really pretty and detailed dress for the girl!

Some nice art :)

Here's a Inu Yasha pic I made in class.
I didn't copy the style of the show and used my own cuz I don't like simply copying...
Since I made it during school, I didn't have a model with me so I didn't remember some details on the sword and clothes.
Anyway, I hope you like it

Are you going to ink any of your drawings? Or color them? Very nice!

Well I don't color a lot since I don't have a tablet, but when I get one I'll be doing a lot of CGing :)
Thanks for the comments!
and here's another one I just finished. I don't know what happened with my scanner but the quality of the pic is really bad :comp:

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

Awesome Sketches

Postby Heed » Mon Oct 06, 2003 8:01 pm

Wow, the one with the young warrior is great. I love all the detail you put into his clothes and making him look "roughed up".

As for the one with the 2 lovers, I thik it is very good. I like the emotion on their faces. It expresses their emotions very well.

And the last one you posted is awesome as well. The clothes detail again is extremely well done and I also like the wind effect in the hair.

This is just my unprofessional critique. :brow:

I have a question for you, can you give me any kind of advice on doing hands, clothes and proportiong the bodies to the heads? I would post some of my art up but at the moment I have no means of getting it in my computer. Anyway, GREAT JOB!

Like they say, the eyes reflect the soul (or something like that) so that's why I always pay lots of attention to them and their expressions.
