Mine would definitely have to be Edward elric, for how brave he was in fullmetal Alchemist.

Ed is a first pick for me too, But I really started thinking about Rikuro from Tsubasa (the one from the fruits Basket author). I see a lot of Jesus-like qualities in him.

Shinji Ikari. How many other 14 year olds with serious emotional damage can do the things he pulls off? He's essentially a bonafide super hero.

Hm, that's a hard one. I have lots of anime characters I consider heroes in different respects. I automatically think of Fai, because of the extreme childhood trauma he went through and sacrifices he made for his comrades. I feel like his overcoming the hurdles he did was heroic, although he was basically a coward.
Then there's Kirito, who's basically the picture of heroism in his show, even though he started out selfish and solitary. I loved his determination and willpower.
And Natsu, who although he's dense and out of control, has that intense protective nature and an awesome attitude of emulation.
There's more, but I won't bore you. I think I'd have to go with Fai, because I feel like I can relate to his attitude, and I love seeing him hurdle his own personal issues.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? -Micah 6:8 KJV
They have shewed thee, O teen, what is good; and what doth the world require of thee, but to fit in, be wealthy, have good looks, and be rebellious? -Peer Pressure 1:1
"I hate milk; it's like drinking vomit." -Edward Elric and me. :fmed:

I didn't think I'd be able to answer this question, since I don't really look at entertainment that way, but turns out I was wrong.

Meimi Haneoka she gives things that was stolen back to their original owners with the love of GOD..she's like a magician female version of Robin Hood in a way and she helps the cops find, and catch the real thieves. In her small silly way she manages to bring hope and make people smile.
