Snow

Talk about anything in here.

Ugh. I'll take snow for about two weeks starting right before Christmas and melting completely off right after New Year's. Don't like the snow, don't like the cold, don't like the gray skies, dreary weather, leafless trees, bad road conditions, shorter days. Like some others, I'd love to live somewhere where Winter is basically nonexistent, and go back to IL for Christmas for a couple weeks. As it is, I get to go to Florida for a week after Christmas and I'm really looking forward to that.

Winter in Central IL seems to last about half the year. I'll gladly give it to you people in CA.

I guess the grass IS always greener (or the snow whiter) on the other side.

Snow is awsome. It really cool to look at when no ones treded through it its just a nice blanket covering the ground.I Like the snow

Snow here won't start for awhile. I don't like snow, or the cold. Can't play soccer, and it's cold, I hate that.

Ah yes, I first saw snow when I moved here (Texas) from Southern California. I love the way it snows in Texas - once or twice a year. If I want a lot of snow I'll go to Colorado or northern New Mexico and stay at a lodge. I'm allergic to being "cold." Freshly fallen snow accumulated on rooftops, trees and streets sure is beautiful, though. :)

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.
