Cats!

A thread for cat-lovers. Wondering who else here adores felines in their many froms.

=^..^=

I currently have three cats. They are all mongrels (non-purebred).

The oldest of my cats is Blue, who definitely has some Persian in him. He's a gray tabby with LONG hair. I took a pair of scissors to him this summer because I felt sorry for him! (I live in a place that has 110-120 degree heat in the summer!). His hair has grown out now, though. He's very aloof and doesn't like to be held. He likes to greet strangers, though.

Then, there is Shadow. She's my online namesake. I began writing fanfiction under the name "Shadowcat", then "Lady Shadowcat" because of her. I needed an online name, looked at her, and went "Hey!" She's a charcoal gray kitty, and, recently, she's gotten pretty fat. She's very affectionate to me, but is afraid of strangers. She's ditzy, but adorable. She has extra toes on her paws!

And last, is Whicket. Whicket is a small-built, tortoiseshell kitty. She is also very sweet and affectionate. She's very playful.

cat thread.

I also have three cats. Their names are Harry, Sabastian, and Tishimingo.

Harry is a longhaired mainecoon. He weighs around 20 pounds. He's a very nice cat and hardly ever hisses and is very affectionate. I named him.

The rest were named by my mom.

Sabastian is a mix breed cat. I have friend who calls him the "cow" cat. He looks like cat version of a cow. The cat is medium in build. He hisses alot, infact he hisses at any one person he meets and occasionally not at my parents and is very anti-social to say the least.

Tishimingo is a small Calico. She is the "follower" of the other cat Sabastian. She can't stand to be picked up and held by anyone. Meows [almost] constantly!

They all run under the closest bed they can find when they hear the doorbell. Maybe they're affraid of real estate agents - I don't know. They are your normal inside cats. Harry is a former outside cat, so he has probably has more sense than the other two.

I have one cat, and it's name is Sally. She is a calico cat, that loves to be held. She loves to rub on you and play with little strings. If you rub her belly she might bite. When I am asleep she'll come in my room and bite me to wake her up and play.

I got nothing against cats, but right before the word "Cats" on the thread is a down arrow... So it's like the thread is "Down (with) cats!" I just thought that was really funny...

I'm allergic to cats, but I still like them for the most part, unless they are attacking my legs while I'm on the computer... My friends' cats to that to me. I've got a friend with like 5 cats, and he used to have more... The cat's rule that house, I swear...

OK, I have two inside cats, Captain and Jake. Captain is the good one, and Jake is the stupid one. Nellie stays outside...^^

I have two cats.

One is a Maine Coon, so she's quite large and she has a lot of fur. She's a total daddy's girl, too, which my husband thinks is great. I call for her and she ignores me, my husband snaps his fingers and she comes running. Her name is Cleo.

The other is a Munchkin. For those of you that don't know, a munchkin is basically a dwarf cat. She has a normal sized body, but very short legs. She's an awesome little cat. My husband named her Keebler (for fairly obvious reasons) and she's a calico. She's quite the ham and she's almost annoyingly affectionate. Oh, and she likes to watch hockey on TV. No kidding. :thumb:

Here's some pics: Keebler Cleo - when she was a kitten

Heee! The kitty pics are cute, deleria.

And... I think it's andyroo who said they had a "cow" cat? My uncle had a cat once (who is now deceased) like that. She was black and white spotted, and looked just like a cow. He named her Holstien. :) She lived to be 20 years old.

I have seven cats. I've posted in detail on them in other places here, so I'll just post their names here:

Scamp, Hazel, Whitey, Yuki, Gray, Honey, and Gracie.

LOL, my favorite is Yuki. . .such a sweet and intelligent cat. :)

I rather like cats, but this apartment is too small (and there's too much equipment around), so Rhett lives with my parents instead (he has the porch to himself and he enjoys it -- lots of room to run, sun himself and curl up and sleep).

I love cats!

I LOVE CATS! I have two. I used to have three but one died.:waah!: Here they are!

Helsinki is an American shorthair with black fur and a white spot under his chin(thingy). He is super curious and is always getting into trouble. :shake: He enjoys eating breakfast with us--by this I mean sitting on the table and being content to watch us while we eat--and to play in water! Now, I know when you read that you were like :eyebrow:, but it's true! Sinki loves it when we bathe!

Alice Springs is Sinki's litter mate, but is kind of a marbly brown instead of black. She is REALLY fat and is very timid around other people. She loves to eat (we think she eats half of Sinki's food) and to sit on the keyboard when one is trying to type. Desptie all that, I love Alice anyway. :)

My first cat was called Hong Kong (in case you haven't noticed, we name our cats after cities!) but he was killed by a fox. :waah!: :sniffle: Anyway, all of my cats are indoor-pets. I love them all so much!

For a moment here, I thought this thread was about that horrific musical of the same name (ugh, can't stand it).
I have 2 kittens. Cali (the Calico) and Abby (the gray tiger-striped Tabby). No I did not name them. Abby's sweet and real friendly, but not real bright. Cali's kinda stand-offish and very xenophobic, but they're both fun to take care of. Except when Abby wants to kneed your hair at 3 am.

Knowing Cali, she'd have a fear of them too. She hates all strangers, including my grandparents. Anyone who doesn't live with us is in danger of Cali hating them.

My cat is a Calico named Precious Trouble. That's right! My cat has a first and a last name! I usually either call her Precious or Trouble depending on the way she is acting at the time. She's a good cat most of the time.

this is the best

I had 15 cats throughout my childhood. I loved all of em. but my mom said I have to many pets and gave some of my cats to my grandma.

now that I live with my dad and stepmom I'm not allowed to have pets inside the house because my stepmom has ashtma.
