Did you get to have any say in what the game would cost?

Yes, but it wasn't entirely up to me. I argued for lower and you can reasonably expect the price to drop before too long.

Now to the most interesting question: How much money have you made from the game so far?

Did you seriously just ask someone how much money they make? Not sure how things are done where you're from, but in most places that's considered quite rude.

But the question then is, the die that was cast, was it a d20?

Please get back to talking about the game. IPV4, asking about earnings is personal information, please don't ask for that, especially since it's already been established that UC can't disclose the cut Steam takes, since you could extrapolate that proprietary data from that information

I will say that I am neither quitting my job nor considering the amount negligible. If I had artistic collaborators I'd definitely be working to get another game out there, but I think I've reached the limit of how much base RPG Maker the Steam community will accept.

Update on the price: we were going to lower it and got shot down by the Steam crew themselves. Expect it to go down eventually.

Looks like the game is 75% off on Steam at the moment, so I'll probably pick it up some time before the Summer Sale ends. I noticed it's Windows only, but I'm sure a game like this would run just fine in Wine.

Yeah, it will have a major sale every other month or so. And it's been tested in Wine - it should run without any tweaking or modification.
