Flooding in Southern Alberta (Canada)

Postby Lynna » Fri Jun 21, 2013 7:16 pm

Hi, I'm not sure how many of you are aware of this situation, but there is severe flooding in the Canadian province of Alberta, particularly in the Calgary area. 100,000 people have been forced to leave their homes, three bodies have been found, and there is massive housing damage. It's really bad. Please pray for the evacuees, the rescue workers, and the people out there who still need help. Also, my Dad went to Calgary to visit my Aunt, and he's travelling back right now. He's driving around the areas that have been closed to traffic, but I would appreciate it if you could pray for him too, as well as my Aunt and her family.
Thank You

I've been keeping tabs on it. We're getting lots of hail and rain up North, but it isn't to the extreme of Calgary and co.

Praying. <3
"I believe...I want to live my life, carrying my memories with me. Even if those memories are painful, even if those memories do nothing but hurt me...Even those memories I wish I could forget...As long as I keep carrying them with me and don't run away from them. Someday...Someday, I believe I will get to the point where I'm not oppressed by those memories. That's what I want to believe. I'd like to think that there's not a single memory that I have which would be okay to forget." -Momiji Sohma - Fruits Basket

Praying.
