Prayer for my friend's mom
Yesterday my friend's mom was hit by a car while on her break at work. She has a broken shoulder that was dislocated, a broken left leg at the knee, and a broken pelvis. As I am writing this, she is going into surgery. Please pray for a speedy recovery that's as painless as possible. She is a really sweet woman (she'll give my oldest niece Christmas presents, even though we've told her she doesn't have too)
It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in people. Psalm 118:8
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;

Thank you for all the prayers. She is getting out of the hospital tomorrow and will be starting rehab.
