Brief Description:
On the first day of high school a beautiful girl named Haruhi Suzumiya introduces herself as having "no interest in ordinary humans". She asks for any aliens, time travelers, sliders or espers to join her. Watching her weird behaviour is Kyon who sits in front of Haruhi and is the only person who talks to her. When Kyon comments about Haruhi's joining every club in school and then quitting he unwittingly gives Haruhi an idea to start her own after school club. Thereafter Kyon and several others find themselves dragged, literally, into the Save our world by Overloading it with fun Suzumiya Haruhi's Brigade (the S.O.S. Brigade for short).

Wow, this series just wowed me. It is an awesome series with great character development, a well developed narriative, and hilarious characters. This series is a must watch for anyone who is I'd say 15, 16-ish years old. I only rated it an 8, because of a repetitious line of episodes called "The Endless Eight" Which are so annoying.

Nudity/Sexual content: There is never complete nudity, but it gets VERY close to it, with one of the characters constantly getting stripped by Haruhi, and the camera stays on her undergarments once. Haruhi blackmails a group of teenagers in a very suggestive way. Mikaru's private parts are always obstructed however.

Violence/gore: A character is impaled, and there is blood shown. A computer game with scifi violence is shown. There is also some comic violence.

Theological Themes:Spoiler: Haruhi is a god] This is a theme that is prevelant throughout the series.

Problematic themes: Kyon uses the word "da**" A LOT. "h***" Is used a few times as well.
